Esther Abrami
Esther Abrami is a French classical violinist and model based in London. Esther has been awarded many prizes including the first prize at the Vatelot Rampal violin competition, the third prize winner of the International Music Competition Salzburg Grand Prize Virtuoso 2016 and received the honorable mention at the Rising Stars Grand Prix International Music Competition Berlin.
She has recently won the first prize at The Arts of Instrumental Performance Concert Series “The Arts of Strings” as well as the 3rd place at the Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition 2016. Esther regularly performs across Europe, her most recent performances include recitals at the British Embassy in Paris and at the Rotary Club International charity concert. Esther has played under the direction of renowned conductors such as Jac van Steen and Paul Mann in prestigious venues including the Royal Festival Hall, the Barbican Centre in London and the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. Most recently Esther was appointed leader of the Blackfriars Camerata in London.
Esther’s extensive and ever-growing following via social media has led her to work with fashion luxury brands including Ming Ray, Harper and Brookes, Kartel Scotland, Subella London, Alany Luxury and many others, as well as renowned music related brands such as D’Addario Strings and Beaumont Music. Esther is represented by the Influencer’s Agency The LDN Collective. As a model Esther works with international fashion photographers and was a finalist of the french national modeling competition Podium 2016. Esther has been selected to represent Audrey Hepburn in the exhibition ICONIC directed by Etienne Clotis and Lucie Vervelle, which takes place at the November 2016 Salon de la Photo in Paris.
Born in France in 1996, Esther graduated from the Aix-en-Provence Conservatoire at the age of 13. She continued her studies at the prestigious Chetham's School of Music in Manchester where she joined the class of Jan Repko. In 2015, Esther began her undergraduate degree at the Royal College of Music in London and currently studies with the acclaimed professor Leonid Kerbel. She had the privilege of working with many distinguished musicians such as Shmuel Ashkenasi, Lewis Kaplan and Charlie Siem.
Esther plays on a Carlo Giuseppe Testore of Milan violin, dated ca. 1700, label Giovanni Grancino.
