Sarah Joy
Sarah Joy is primarily a classically trained cellist, singer-songwriter/composer, and music educator.
She began studying the cello at age 5 with her grandmother, an Eastman graduate, and her father, a Juilliard graduate. Along with her classical studies, she began producing her own recordings. At age 16, she began studying at Texas Tech University with Jeffrey Lastrapes, a Curtis and Juilliard alumni. She graduated summa cum laude, and was a recipient of the Presser Award. She has performed in chamber ensembles, professional symphony orchestras, and currently performs as a singer-songwriter.
With over 3 million views on her YouTube channel, and mentions from BuzzFeed, The Daily Dot, R1L Music and others, her social media presence is steadily increasing.

Her Skype cello studio has included students from 7 different countries. She is a brand ambassador for Beaumont Music, D'Addario Strings, and Fiddlershop and her music is distributed by Italian label, Halidon Music. She is also associated with artist agency, Brave Enough.
